Translated to Serbian the word “Samorad” means “only working”. When the founders of Samorad were looking for an appropriate name for their company they tried to be authentic and specific. They asked them self what are we actually doing the whole time? The simple answer was “working”. That’s how the name was created. Samorad = only working. Samorad in Aleksandrovac is a family business which was established 1992 and is still importing second-hand machines from Switzerland from a variety of industries. All it started in the garage behind the house yard where the imported items were stored. As the business was growing, so was more space needed.
In 1995 Samorad constructed a new two levelled stocking magazine at a total surface of more than 1000m 2 . After some time the variety of the imported items changed. Agricultural and elektronical machines for the house hold were less attractive and Samorad set its focus more on machines from the food and metal working industry.
In 2000 again more space was required. Samorad again had to build a new additional warehouse for its goods.
Until today Samorad has built 4 warehouses and invested in two neighbour companies. Today Samorad offers its machines and quipment on more than 8.000 m2.
On our location you will find a huge variety of machines and equipment of products as:
Metalworking machines like: Working centre, CNC-milling machines, CNC-lathe machines etc.
Food industry machines like:
Meat: sausage filling machines, wolfs, cutter, etc.
Bakery: mixers, roto oven, pizza oven etc.
Dairy: complet lines, homogenisers, separators, pasteurizers, etc.
Packaging machines: vacuum machines, packaging machines, labelling machines, etc.
Refrigeration systems: cooling rooms, condensers, cooling units, compressors, refrigeration show cases.
Samorad is located in Aleksandrovac, which is placed aproximately 220 km south from Belgrade and about 20 km. If you are driving from Belgrade take the exit at the high way “Pojate / Krusevac” and drive to Krusevac and follow Aleksandrovac.
If you are coming from Cacak and Kraljevo turn right in Stopanja towards Aleksandrovac and go straight for the next 15km. At the circle turn right towards Aleksandrovac. In 2 Km you will find in Stopanja on your left side our company.
